Objective #1: Identify situations in which joint sparing procedures may be more or less appropriate in flatfoot deformity correction.

Objective #2: Understand surgical anatomy with relation to dissection and deformity correction in the flatfoot patient.

Objective #3: Logically comprehend preoperative and intraoperative approach to flatfoot correction in a stepwise manner. Objective #4: Identify the potential consequences with regards to adjacent joints in arthrodesis procedures.
